No Movement

Trouble Shooting > No Movement

Symptom: No Movement

Your engine seems to be operating correctly and when you step on the gas pedal or try to shift into gear your transmission does not react. Or, Your car will not move in either reverse or forward.

Possible Cause:

Automatic: Check your transmission fluid level. An excessive transmssion leak or a detached cooling line can empty your transmssion of fluid. Without fluid, your transmission will become seriously damaged.

If your fluid level is appropriate, you may have hard part damage or a fault with the shift linkage. Call our service manager (425) 397-6111 to get extra trouble shooting help.

Manual:As long as the clutch pedal does not have sloppy movement, you may just need a minor adjustment. On the other hand, your clutch may have been damaged and require replacement. Call our service manager (425) 397-6111 to get extra trouble shooting help.
